No the Benchwarmer was not born crooked because of the slit eyes of Yuki Kadono, a Japanese pocket guy who at 21 has already kicked more ass than Rocco in a 30-year career. Maybe not in the same way, but come on, you get the idea. Anyway, if you take a ride on YouTube once in a while you know that for every aspect of life there is an Asian who does it better and compulsively, again history repeats itself because this guy pulled out a plank mine that if buried would make an area the size of Uzbekistan intransitable. The classic traditional camber still reaps acclaim when an athlete is looking for precision and stability in landing, you may not jump a tenth as much as this Yuki but two turns on the slope you like to pull them feeling a nice precise rail underneath you. Going back to the asymmetry thing for a moment, it's perfect to compensate for the natural excursion of the joints when you curve backside, closing the sidecut earlier allows you to enter the aggressive phase of the turn with less effort and get more grip for the same amount of movement. The rest of the board is created to travel at speeds close to leap size as you try to pull huge tricks in full control of the situation. How? You can't see yourself on it? Don't worry brother you can also use it like all Christians to carve, jump sensibly and do two turns in the powder anyway this board is scary
